Holes In My Shoes is the profoundly moving story of New Yorker, Jack Beers. At 94-years-old he breaks the age barrier; able to rip a telephone book into 4 pieces with his hands he is as active and energetic as men more than half his age. But that is just the beginning, his long and diverse list of lifetime achievements is an inspiring tale for all ages.
Jack was raised in poverty in Manhattan and went on to be a strongman, a professional dog trainer and an actor. He built Radio City Music Hall, erected the Empire State Building spire and beat life-threatening illnesses. Today he rides three miles a day on a stationary bike, drives, cuts down trees! Adding to his long list of achievements, he was recently acknowledged by Mayor Bloomberg for his life-time achievements. Jack’s story is truly motivational and richly entertaining. He’s goin’ for 100! From the filmmaker: Official website holes in my shoes is not available for purchase online yet.
